Celebrating Women in Construction Week 2018

Highlighting the Women of Kensington Glass Arts, Inc.

March 5 through March 11 is National Women in Construction Week, a week dedicated to celebrating and recognizing the women who have chosen careers in the male-dominant field of construction. National Women in Construction Week was cultivated by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) who’s mission is “to enhance the success of women in the construction industry.” (1) This year’s theme is “Making a Measurable Difference,” which is exactly what the ladies at Kensington Glass Arts is doing every day.

The women of KGa hold a wide variety of positions. There are female Project Managers, Quality Control Techs, Project Administrators and so much more. This week, as we celebrate National Women in Construction Week 2018, we will feature a few of the women that have chosen careers in the construction field with Kensington Glass Arts. Learn about how they chose a career in construction, what a typical work day looks like for them and what they love about working for KGa.
